Readers come to us seeking respite and escape; surcease from the cares of the world. So it simply won't do to cause them discomfort by bringing up the policies and peccadilloes, the wide stances and extramarital romances of our elected officials. Passages on politics, favoring either red or blue, will be deleted by pencils red and blue. Lions and Bears, yes. Donkeys and elephants, no.

The Los Angeles Times has taken notice of Bob’s position on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and points out that both Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama are supportive of a bailout of the two failing government-run agencies

On his show last night, Bill Maher showed a RNC edition of the “New Rule” included Bob Barr. Marc Gallagher over at Liberty Maven said, “Most of the lines were just not funny, but Paul’s line and Barr’s line brought out the laughs.”
